Sean Hoyer is a committed supporter of animal rights and welfare. He approached me about creating designs for an upcoming “Vegan Fashion” clothing line.
We wanted several designs to express his strongly held beliefs that eating animals is unethical and that “non-human life” deserves as much respect as human life. I manipulated vector art for the designs to make them print on either a light or dark background. To keep silkscreen production costs low, I created two-color layouts for all but one of the designs: “Interspecies Solidarity,” with its rainbow of tracks, is in full CMYK color—or, for a true splurge, eight single colors.
Sean is in the process of sourcing materials; I’ll keep you updated on the progress.
